Hungry Munchers iphone game WIP

For the last year and a half or so I've been learning the Objective-C programming language with a goal of creating a simple iPhone game. I've always loved the idea of programming. Something about melding artwork with something interactive is just super neat. After cramming my head with some knowledge I went to work on my first game, Hungry Munchers.

I hope to have it in the App Store in a few months if everything goes as planned. I'm also working on setting up a simple webpage where I hope to share some of my experiences incase anyone else with a predominant right side of the brain, wishes to exercise the left. Stay tuned!

Figure Drawings with a touch of color

I tried playing with some quick water colors during this figure session. Its a ton of fun, but I have some practice to do for sure. I almost felt a little panic set in as I tried to quickly get the right color to drop in...something that hopefully goes away once I get a bit more comfortable with the medium.

Bubble Gum Boy

Playing around with some water color textures added in Photoshop. I found some great water color brushes and clicked away until i made the texture image linked below (feel free to click the thumb and download the full image). Then I added it as a clipping mask for the boy illustration and set it to overlay. It's a simple way to give some flat illustrations some character.
